We, as social beings, are complex. There is no “one size fits all” here. This is why I hold firm in an integrative approach to therapy.
I am trained in the following modalities:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
As we work together, you will receive a therapeutic experience that looks through all of these lenses from a strength-based and client centered perspective. This process is about finding a way to make this work for you!
As an integrative clinician, I will work with you to identify unhealthy and often hurtful patterns of thinking–working to change your relationship with the voice in your head to work for you, not against you! You will discover your strengths, learn to accept some challenges and commit to what feels most important in your life. With this, one often connects with a sense of vitality and newfound commitment to life.
I also believe that we all function as a part of a larger system with various influences in our lives (family, work, school, relationships, etc.) and will work with you with these influences in mind. Working closely with the family system, identifying healthy boundaries and working to develop nourishing relationships is essential to our overall well-being.
This investment in yourself will ultimately lead you to an experience that many describe as coming back to self, feeling whole again, moving from fragmented and confused to an identity that is cohesive and grounded. Clear. Participating in and observing one move through this profound work is what drives my professional commitment and constant effort to remain fresh in my knowledge and empathic in my approach. I will always remain humble and grateful as I am invited into the most vulnerable and challenging parts of your world. Thank you in advance and I look forward to meeting you soon!
